Replacing the antenna immediately put my camera back online

Ordered a stock replacement antenna for my trail camera. Something had pulled it off. Replacement works perfectly.

Great reception, antennas will break at the swivel and pull wires out when wildlife climb on the cameras. I think a rigid antenna would be much more suitable for the cameras mounted on trees. The swivel is nice to get better signal around limbs but usually racoons or squirrels climb on them and move the antenna or break it. I keep multiple antennas in my shop.

I've had a trail camera stolen by someone who though I purposefully trapped his dog. I had the camera over a coyote set way back in the woods (sorry he let his dog run wild on property he shouldn't have been on). The owner found the dog in my trap, set him free, and then stole my camera. Obviously he didn't care very much about it being someone else's property, because he broke one of the antenna off. Thank goodness they sell these little replacement ones!
