Disappointing Product Failure and Customer Service

I purchased two Rhino 180 see-through ground blinds in Realtree Edge, expecting the durability I’ve experienced from other hunting brands. Unfortunately, the hub system on one of the blinds broke on its first use, leaving me unable to properly fold, transport, or use the blind for hunting.

I contacted Feradyne customer service to request a warranty repair or replacement, but was told that because I no longer have the original receipt, Feradyne will not assist me.

That is extremely disappointing. I’ve hunted in Texas, Alabama, and Virginia for years and have used multiple brands of ground blinds that have lasted for years. I also own dozens of Rage broadheads and multiple Feradyne blinds, representing hundreds of dollars invested in Feradyne products. Given that history, I expected Feradyne to stand behind a product that failed on its first outing, particularly when the issue appears to be a failure of the hub system rather than normal wear and tear.

I hope Feradyne leadership will reconsider this decision and find a way to warranty or replace the blind. I would gladly revise my review if the company resolves the issue.

If you’re considering purchasing a Feradyne ground blind, I would encourage you to consider how the company handles warranty issues when something goes wrong.
