I had this crossbow for last year deer season, and it will check all the boxes that you need to be successful in your quest to harvest the animals your after. It hit's where you aim it. I don't shoot deer past 40 yards and it does the job. It should be priced higher than what it is going for. It's right up there with the quality of the expensive crossbows. save yourself some money and get yourself one. If there is one complaint I have about this crossbow is that it doesn't have a way to de cock it, I have to shoot it into a small target I carry in the back of the truck when I'm done hunting.
