Carbon Express Signs Team USA Compound Archer MaKenna Proctor to Professional Shooting Team

World Cup medalist and USA Archery board representative joins the Carbon Express roster

SUPERIOR, Wis. – October 6, 2026 – Carbon Express today announced the signing of Team USA compound archer MaKenna Proctor to its professional shooting team. Proctor, a World Cup bronze medalist from Ohio, joins the roster as one of the most accomplished and fastest-rising compound archers in the United States.

Proctor first came to international attention in 2021, when she helped the USA junior women's compound team win bronze at the World Archery Youth Championships in Wrocław, Poland. Weeks later, she made her senior international debut at the World Archery Championships in Yankton, South Dakota, becoming the first Black woman named to a USA Archery World Championship team. She has since competed on the World Cup circuit and has been named to the United States Archery Team multiple times, including the 2026 senior squad.

Off the line, Proctor serves as the compound athlete representative on the USA Archery Board of Directors, a role she was elected to in 2022 for the 2023–2026 term. She also serves on USA Archery's Athlete Advisory Council and is well known for her work with young archers, regularly sharing tips on preparing for tournament conditions.

"We are proud to have MaKenna on our Pro Staff team. Not only is she an amazing archer, she's a major advocate for the sport of archery," said Erik Bramble, Pro Staff Manager, Carbon Express. "MaKenna is an amazing young woman, and we look forward to great things together."

As a member of the Carbon Express professional shooting team, Proctor will shoot Carbon Express arrows at national and international events, contribute to product testing, appear at events and clinics, and create content for Carbon Express channels.

Proctor began shooting at a summer archery camp and has grown into one of the top compound archers in the country. Her story reflects Carbon Express's commitment to supporting athletes who excel in competition and help grow the sport.
