SUPERIOR, Wis. (Jan. 5, 2016) — Tru-Fire, the leader in the evolution of archery releases, has introduced the new Spark dual-jaw caliper release. Designed as a smaller version of the popular Tru-Fire Smoke release, the new Spark offers a smaller strap design to accommodate archers with smaller hands. The strap will fit wrists measuring 4.5 to 8 inches in circumference.
The Spark features spring-loaded jaws with a linear bearing system that is combined with the Tru-Forward trigger-finger positioning in a compact release head that meets the needs of all levels of archers. Trigger travel is adjustable, and the release point is set at approximately 5 ounces from the factory. When the trigger is released, the spring-loaded jaws automatically return to the closed position.
Its bright-orange release head and brushed-black-cotton buckle strap with heavy-duty orange stitching make the Spark attractive and easily identified. The patented Tru-Fire Foldback ring design allows the release head on the Spark to be flipped back 180-degrees, where is stays held in position against the archer’s arm when moving around, but it can be flipped out in an instant to engage the string loop. With 10 buckle-pin adjustment points, the new Spark also provides 3/8-inch of travel adjustment to the
release head, which can be locked down for either left-hand or right-hand archers for added assurance and repeatability.
Proudly made in the U.S.A. and tested to 200 lbs., the Spark will be available at dealers nationwide this spring for a suggested retail price is $49.99.
