Previously, when an arrow hit a layer head-on, the layer would buckle. This resulted in layer damage that reduced target life.

    These replaceable cores are great. These cores are designed so you can rotate the core to get different shooting scenarios which is great way to practice. My core has lasted several years, but knowing I can replace the core and not the whole target is great.
