Works great as long as batteries are the same kind. After 1-2yrs will begin to dry out and have a have on them and no longer charge

I’m not sure if it’s a good fit for using in the woods . I e bought rechargeable batteries and added solar and I still have to change the batteries monthly .
The solar panel works well. I have it in a semi-shaded are in the woods and it works well.
